Donadea Forest park

This evening I found myself in Kildare near Donadea Forest park so I dropped in for an hour.
It was about 5.30pm and pretty dark with heavy clouds of rain, but I still got to see Coots, adult and juv Moorhens and some Little Grebes.

Little Grebe
Little Grebe, close up
Adult Moorhen, they're usually very shy and nervy so it's rare to see the feet so closely.
Juvenile Moorhen, lacking the red and yellow bill of the adult.
I ain't afraid of no ghost

The grounds of the park were massive but it was getting really dark and there were ghosts in the woods so I left the woodlands until another day.
