Autumn Migration workshop with Eric Dempsey.

Eric Dempsey has asked that I post this in case anyone is interested!
There are only a few places left on this weekend course - which no doubt will be a brilliant. Eric is probably the best teacher/ birdguide in Ireland.
Here are the details from Eric:

This weekend workshop will look at the wonder of autumn migration, examining the movements of birds, the effects weather has on migration, and the routes that birds take. It will consist of an indoor workshop on 22nd Oct followed by a field trip in Wicklow that afternoon in search of migrants. On Sun 23rd Oct, we will journey down to Wexford, visiting some of the best habitats that attract all sorts of autumn migrants. Depending on the weather, areas we may visit include Hook Head, Carnsore Point and Churchtown as well as Tacumshin Lake and Lady’s Island Lake.

Cost includes full attendance at the indoor workshop at Sycamore Hill, outdoor fieldwork on Sat in Wicklow, a light lunch on Sat, tea and coffee on arrival on Sat and the full day field trip to Wexford.
